LEADERSHIP GLASGOW- BARREN COUNTY Class of 2019/2020
A note from
Glasgow–Barren County Lead Forward Committee
Dear Glasgow and Barren Co.. July 8, 2020
After careful consideration of the current state of the pandemic, and the unknown future of public gatherings, the Lead Forward committee has decided to postpone the 2020-2021 Glasgow Barren County Leadership program. The program will resume in summer/fall of 2021.
Even as the postponement comes as an unfortunate result of the unprecedented times, the Lead
Forward committee is excited and motivated to do a deep evaluation of the program and revitalize the schedule for the incoming 2021-2022 class.
We want to encourage all our business partners to keep the programin consideration for the 2021-2022 year. If you have any questions or suggestions, please e-mailReOonna at the
Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce
Wishing you all the best, Lead Forward Committee
Leadership Glasgow-Barren County, organized by the Glasgow-Barren County Chamber of Commerce in 1990, was designed to develop the leadership skills of present and future leaders serving Glasgow and Barren County.
Each year, approximately 20 participants are selected to participate following an application and interview process. The program begins with a mandatory two-day retreat for orientation and team building. Participants must then attend six of seven monthly sessions. Additional requirements for graduation include obtaining credits through individual attendance or participation in a variety of community activities as well as their participation in a Leadership group project that benefits the community.
